Mr. Hassall spent 25 years as a consumer and retail sector investment banker in London and Hong Kong with Robert Fleming, Jardine Fleming, Credit Suisse and, latterly, UBS.

At UBS, which he joined in 2008, he initially led its Asian Consumer and Retail Sector investment banking team based in Hong Kong and then was appointed Global Sector Head and moved to London. In 2017, he left UBS to start his own consumer focused advisory/consulting practice, Sequor Partners Limited. Mr. Hassall is also a Senior Advisor to Spayne Lindsay & Co. LLP, the London based consumer and retail advisory boutique and Executive Chairman of Big Wave Brands Ltd, a start-up alcoholic spirits business.

Mr. Hassall has an MA from Oxford University.
