EmergeVest Director Lu Wang joins forces with SS&C Intralinks to mark International Women’s Day and discusses her views on gender diversity in the workplace.
In the interview Lu shares how EmergeVest has prioritised governance structures defining gender equity by being a signatory to the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA)’s worldwide Diversity in Action (DIA) initiative and ensuring portfolio companies also follow the same values and governance.
Flagship portfolio company, EV Cargo has targets in place to ensure a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace is active and enabling opportunities for all. These targets include:
- At least 25% of senior management positions held by females in 2023
- Females to make up 25% of governance bodies by 2023
- Gender pay gap will be less than 2% by 2023
