Mr. Ma has seven years of experience in private equity, hedge fund and investment banking. Prior to joining EmergeVest, Mr. Ma was a Senior Analyst at Optimas Capital, where he covered consumer and China real estate sectors. Prior to Optimas Capital, Mr. Ma spent four years with China International Capital Corporation as part of the Hong Kong Investment Banking team, executing over US$10 billion of transactions across consumer, TMT, healthcare, real estate and advanced industrials sectors.

Mr. Ma graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Risk Management and Business Intelligence (First Class Honors). He is native Cantonese speaker and fluent in English and Mandarin.
