Prior to joining EmergeVest, Mr. Sears-Black spent 30 years leading and growing technology businesses globally. He was Managing Director of Manhattan Associates where he led five years of continuous growth following his successful exit from Isotrak, where he was founder of a VC-backed startup. At Apple Computer, Mr. Sears-Black started as Marketing Manager in the UK and rose through the company to lead global sales for their Consumer Electronics Division. He started his career as a graduate Electronics Engineer where his experience included writing code for building control systems.

Mr. Sears-Black is currently Chairman of Atheon Analytics and Non-Executive Director of Detected. He graduated from University of Hertfordshire with BSc Hons Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He was Chairman, Townsend Sports Club (2009-14), and Vice Chairman, Verulam Cycling Club (2016-19).
